The new uniforms were presented in the event dedicated to baseball and softball clubs at the headquarters of the prestigious Bolognese company together with FIBS President Andrea Marcon and the Italians Giulia Longhi, Matteo Bocchi and Giorgio Napoli.
The occasion was that of the meeting with the FIBS affiliated companies at the Macron Campus, home of the most important Italian technical clothing brand, which invited them to the headquarters in Valsamoggia, Bologna, to illustrate yesterday’s story, talk about future projects and today’s cutting-edge products.
Present, in addition to the club managers, were the Azzurri Giulia Longhi, captain of Italia Softball, Matteo Bocchi, ace of the national baseball team, and Giorgio Napoli, leading player of Italia BXC, the new uniforms were also discovered in preview of the National Teams, which will be adopted starting from 2025.
“Dressing the Italian national team is always a great source of pride for an Italian company like ours – declared Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron – The combination of Macron Hero and blue is increasingly present among Italian sports federations and this can only make us happy, as well as confirming the technical quality of our clothing. We have a very special bond with baseball in particular: in 1971, when this company was born, Macron began its activity as the exclusive Italian distributor of baseball clothing and equipment. In short, Macron and baseball have known each other for over 50 years.”
“I thank Macron for the return to the blue family of baseball and softball – declared FIBS President Andrea Marcon in his speech – and at the same time for the return of blue baseball and softball to the great family of sports that bring the Macron Hero to the chest.”
