An exciting and successful day of competition lies behind the young judoka from the Malchin Judo Club. On Saturday the team traveled with 14 children to the 16th Neustrelitz Judo Tournament, which was organized by PSV Neustrelitz.
With impressive performances, the young talents secured a total of 9 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals – a result that speaks for the committed work of the coaches and the motivation of the young athletes.
JV Malchin is looking forward to the squad tournament in Grimmen at the beginning of December
Thanks to three double starts in different weight classes, the Malchin judoka were able to collect additional points and ultimately achieve first place in the team ranking.
Behind them, the teams from Wolgast and Stralsund ended up in second and third place.
After this great success, the focus now turns to the upcoming international Christmas tournament on the 7th/8th. December in Grimmen.
This traditional tournament, which is advertised as a squad tournament, is considered particularly demanding. The competition is strong and every medal has to be fought hard for. Nevertheless, the judoka from Malchin are looking forward to the event. “It is always a special experience to compete in Grimmen. The atmosphere is unique and we are looking forward to giving it our best,” said club circles.
