“A difficult victory”
Marie-Claude Ivaldi recounts her journey to her third world title.
It was a difficult victory to achieve. I won my first fight, lost the second and the title depends on the last fight. Knowing that I had done all this work and all this travel, there was no way I was going to come back without the gold medal so I let it all go and I was able to beat the American and be world champion
Wounded in the shoulder in her final fight, she focuses above all on victory and all the work accomplished
I feel good, I feel proud. I am grateful for the work of my students. It is by working with them and correcting them that I can correct myself. It is the club, the children and the parents who give me the strength to do it
