The young judoka of Yoshinryu Judo Bordighera, Matteo Laganàwrote a new page in his brilliant career by taking a well-deserved third place in the Trofeo Italia stage, held in Roncadelle (BS) on 17 November.
In the Beginners B category weighing 73 kg, Matteo demonstrated exponential growth, overcoming fierce opponents with refined technique and uncommon determination. His ippon achieved with a splendid o-uchi-gari throw in the second match was one of the most exciting moments of the competition.
“I’m really satisfied with this result. It was a very hard-fought race – he declared Matteo Laganà hot – and I’m happy that I was able to give my best. Starting from January 2025Matteo will face a new challenge: the Cadet category. “I’ll start from scratch – says Matteo – but I’m determined to make my mark. The competition will be fiercer, but I am ready to give my all to achieve my goals”.
