The 36-year-old from Viterbo involved in the huge and violent brawl on 26 April at the Shrine is back under house arrest. On November 19, the Carabinieri implemented the replacement order. The man, who that day was in the white Audi with a 47-year-old, has settled for eight months.
Still on trial, before judge Giovanna Camillo, the 47-year-old from Viterbo accused of using the car as a weapon and who in the last hearing defended himself by stating that his “daughter had been threatened with a knife under her throat”, and a 34-year-old of Afghan origins. The latter asked to negotiate an eight-month sentence.
On April 26, all three were arrested in flagrante delicto after the intervention of the patrols of the operational and mobile unit of the Carabinieri and the police squad cars.
The fight, which started for trivial reasons, involved two families and quickly turned into an episode of uncontrolled violence. The police, alerted by a citizen, stopped the protagonists, recovering and seizing the tools used in the fight, including a claw hammer and a baseball bat.
The episode took on particularly serious tones when the 47-year-old allegedly tried to hit the 34-year-old Afghan man with his car.
