Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) President Hidayet Türkoğlu, National Women’s Basketball Team Head Coach Ekrem Memnun, Women’s National Teams Director Nilay Kartaltepe, National Team Manager Yasemin Horasan and crescent-star basketball players attended the media day held at the Basketball Development Center.
Hidayet Türkoğlu stated that the national team matches are very exciting and said, “As management, we have always stood behind our team. Our national team started the 2025 European Championship Qualifiers very well. I congratulate them. “Hopefully we will win the next two matches and show that we are very strong to qualify for the European Championship.” he said.

Stating that the Basketball Development Center is a very special place, Türkoğlu said: “Our national teams and our valuable clubs are playing matches here. This is a unique facility in Europe. Tomorrow, we will play our first national match here with the National Women’s Basketball Team. This also has a special excitement. Ekrem Memnun reminded that they won the first two matches and said:
