When did player training for this cohort start and how has it been structured?
Player training for this cohort began two years ago, and since then seven player training camps have been held. During these camps, the players have been given the opportunity to develop their technical and tactical skills through training and feedback from experienced coaches. The camps have also included theoretical parts to increase understanding of the conditions that need to be in place within our sport. The players have been able to participate in training sessions, with varied content, ranging from basic techniques to advanced game systems. The goal of the player training has been to prepare the players in the best possible way for the Swedish Cup and other future challenges as handball players.

What will your immediate preparations look like for the Swedish Cup?
We have three half days together for training and a practice match planned to get all the players ready. Our preparations will be training sessions that focus mainly on team play. We will work on honing our game in both attack and defense. To succeed in SvC, it will be required that everyone is mentally prepared for the challenges that await. Our goal has been to get as much individual feedback and coaching as possible to maximize their performance on the field. Our goal is to go into the Swedish Cup with a strong, tight-knit group that is ready to play every game with confidence and determination.

What are you most looking forward to during the Swedish Cup?
What we are all looking forward to is being able to compete with the best in the 09 age group from other parts of Sweden. We look forward to feeling the competitive nerves and having the opportunity to develop both individually and as a team during the weekend. We are also looking forward to making new friendships and sharing this exciting experience together. The Swedish Cup is an opportunity to show off as a player, and we are ready to do our very best in every match and every situation on the pitch.

What expectations do you have for the Swedish Cup?
We look forward to a good arrangement where we hope for well-organized matches with competent judges and officials. In addition to the exciting matches, we expect three days filled with energetic handball and a great atmosphere. Sportingly, we expect to be able to surprise several of the teams we meet, by offering high-class handball where our girls really get a chance to shine and show off their skills in the best possible way.

When the audience takes their seats in Nyköping, what can they expect to see?
A team with a high work ethic that plays intense defense and quick transitions. We expect to see great courage in our players, a strong team spirit that permeates the whole team. Every player will fight for every ball and every point, and that will be palpable to all spectators. We obviously hope to surprise and impress the audience with our game. Our girls are ready to give their all and show their best side in front of an enthusiastic audience.

Tell us a little more about your team:
A group of positive and enthusiastic girls who have really found each other both on and off the field. We hope that a strong group dynamic will help to maintain a high level throughout the tournament. We hope that the girls support each other in all situations, which creates a safe and inspiring environment where each player can perform at their best. We look forward to seeing how their joint efforts and hard work pay off during the Swedish Cup.

Which associations do the players come from?
Enköpings HF, Ramunder HK, RP IF and Mantorp HF
