Last weekend, the Baena Badminton Club shone once again by participating in the VI Conference of the Provincial Circuit, organized in collaboration with the Andalusian Badminton Federation. This event, which brought together 60 players from all over the province, was held in the town of Rute, with the representation of 8 clubs: CB Baena, CB Córdoba, CB La Encina, CB Lucena, CB Montilla, CB Rute, CB Sierra Morena and CD Volante Rute.
The event not only stood out for the sporting competition, but also for its excellent organization and the welcoming atmosphere offered by the local community. Last weekend, the members of the Baena Landbike Club left their mark at the start of the Seville Diputación Circuit BTT Rally 2024/2025, one of the most anticipated events on the mountain biking calendar. This circuit, which stands out for its Olympic MTB Cross Country (XCO) modality, brought together the best bikers in the region on a challenging route both technically and physically.
With an absolute 3.95 km route designed specifically for bikers from the cadet category onwards, the day was a true test of endurance, skill and strategy. The Baena Landbike Club proved to be up to the challenge, with outstanding performances that predict a promising 2025 season.

The Media Legua Club shines in the Córdoba Half Marathon
The Córdoba Half Marathon, considered the queen of the province’s popular racing calendar, once again brought together thousands of runners in a spectacular day. With nearly 6,200 participants, this emblematic event, which tours the most iconic corners of the capital of Cordoba, culminated with the victory of local athlete Juan Ignacio Grondona, from the Club Atletismo Cordobés, who won for the second consecutive year with an impressive time of 1 :07:07.
The Media Legua Club, among the protagonists of the Day
The Media Legua Club attended the event with one of the largest representations of the event: more than 50 runners defended the club’s colors, demonstrating their passion for athletics and their ability to face the 21.1 km of this demanding test.
Among the members of the club, the performances of several runners who managed to position themselves with excellent results stood out:
