Mendillorri hosts the judo absolute

Each and every one of them tried to offer their best judo to reach a place on the podium. In the female category, the champions of the different weight categories were: Arrate Murillo (-48 kg), Ainara Garnica (-52 kg), Gaxuxa Zelaieta (-57 kg), María Ramos (-63 kg) and Aisha Bencheik (- 70kg).

In the men’s category, the golds went to: Gorka Gracia (-60 kg), Daniel Cervantes (-66 kg), Gonzalo Pennequin (-73 kg), Yago León (-81 kg), Lucas Monreal (-90 kg), Aritz Lavado (-100 kg) and Joseba Lavado (+100 kg).

The next big event for Navarrese judo athletes will be in the Northern Sector Phase of the Spanish Absolute Championship, which will be held in Barbastro on November 16. Navarra, like the rest of the communities that will participate in the competition, will offer a list of selected people to attend the event in the coming days.
