Michela Cicchetti from the Judo CS Village of Ravenna wins the black belt and the podium

Over the course of the last weekend, the Village Sports Center saw its athletes as protagonists in two important competitions. In Florence, the athletes of the Junior and Senior categories, accompanied by the coach Lorenzo Gambogi, gave their best. In the men’s up to 81 kg category, Erik Sangiorgi achieved an excellent third place, having won three of his four fights before the limit.

But the great protagonist of the day was Michela Cicchetti, who triumphed in the women’s category up to 57 kg. An impeccable competition allowed her not only to win the tournament, but also to earn the points necessary to obtain the coveted first Dan black belt. An achievement achieved with commitment, determination and a great spirit of sacrifice.

At the same time, in Guastalla, the Beginners and Cadet categories, accompanied by the technicians Andrea Guadagnini and Matteo Tufariello, participated in another important event. Among the youngest, the victories of Martina Conficconi, Francesco Visani and Davide Tufariello stand out, who ranked first in their respective categories. Filippo Belletti, Stephanie Zizzamia, Kevin Canale, Amos Montanari, Sofia Giorgi and Diego Tufariello took the second step of the podium. Third place were Daniele Capodieci, Francesco Giuliano and Gianfranco Capodieci.

In fifth place were Lauren Allushaj, Agata Bertazzini, Omar Dammak and Abdul Roman. Thanks to the high-level results obtained by its athletes, CS Village achieved second place in the final ranking among the clubs, preceded only by the Modena team.
