The Rugby Club Toulonnais announced this Thursday that the appeal committee of the French Rugby Federation had rendered a decision in favor of Pierre Mignoni, following a formal defect in the disciplinary procedure against him.
In mid-October, Pierre Mignoni was suspended for six weeks on Thursday by the National Rugby League for «incorrection» towards a referee after his anger at the end of a match against Clermont on October 6 (19-18 defeat). He had to be held back by two players so as not to expose his anger to the referees.
This decision will allow Pierre Mignoni to return to the Mayol locker room from the next match, Saturday November 23. The RCT concludes its press release by reaffirming its “deep respect for the entire arbitration body and their commitment to collaborate in a spirit of transparency and mutual consideration. »
