It’s been 12 years since Adrian Peterson won the NFL’s MVP award. This marks the 12th year since a non-quarterback has won that award. Philadelphia Eagles Running back Saquon Barkley is making a legitimate case for ending his QB streak. Barkley had a career-high 255 yards and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Rams on “Sunday Night Football,” adding four receptions for 47 yards to reach a total of 302 yards from scrimmage. He was asked about a possible MVP campaign after the 37-20 win.
“Once the season is over, I’ll start thinking about it,” he said. pro soccer talk Miles Simmons. “I love being part of that conversation. That’s cool. But it’s a team sport, and if you told me before this year that I could win the MVP and lose the Super Bowl, or win the Super Bowl and not be the MVP, I would win the Super Bowl.”
Today’s quiz is out. Barkley’s 1,649 yards from scrimmage are the most in the NFL this year, and he joins Derrick Henry as the only backs with more than 1,000 rushing yards so far in 2024. So, can you tell me the name of the running back who rushed? Do you need at least 220 yards per game?
Good luck!
