Muñoz returns to Bravas –

Power on offense and a reliable glove in the infield, that is what characterizes the American Daisy Muñoz, who is back with the Bravas de León for the 2025 season of the Mexican Softball League.

The one based in Buena Park, California, already showed what she is made of during her first campaign with the ninth team, becoming a key piece and reference within the roster led by Chihuahuan Adriana Pérez, now one of the assistants of the new manager of the Bajío troop, Nancy Prieto from Monterrey.

During his time in college ball, Muñoz left good numbers with the Fullerton Titans, where he completed five seasons batting .316 with 202 hits, 32 home runs, drove in 158 runs, scored 67 and negotiated 64 walks, all in 228 games in which he had 640 appearances in the batter’s box.

Daisy’s best time with Fullerton was in 2019 with an average of .355, although in 2021 and 2022 she blew up her wood 11 and 10 times, respectively. It should be noted that, in the Titans’ record book, the name of the infielder is found as being the tenth in history with the most games played, eighth with the most hits, seventh in doubles, third in four-season hits and fifth in pads taken.

Muñoz also already knows what it’s like to play in the old continent and in 2023 he joined the Neptunus Club of the Hoofdklasse, the best softball league in Holland and where he hit a high .456, a product of his 31 hits, a home run, 27 runs scored and 11 struck. Part of what was achieved in the American Union and what was done in the Netherlands was what, at the time, drew powerful attention to bring it to the LMS with the Bravas.

It should be noted that the end of 2024 for Daisy Muñoz has been round, this being included in the ideal team of the Women’s Professional FastPitch, a competition in which she entered with the Las Adelitas squad and where precisely she had the chance to coincide with other foreigners that the Guanajuato team will have, cases of the Italian Marta Gasparotto and the North American Makena Brocki.

The season for the Bravas will begin on January 23 and 24, hosting the Naranjeras de Hermosillo at the Domingo Santana Stadium, an organization that has recently entered the LMS.
