They lost to Italy with a score of 87-80 away in the first match they played in the group, and beat Iceland 76-75 at home in the second match, and got their second victory by defeating Hungary 92-66 at home.
The Crescent-Stars will host Hungary in their 4th match in the group on Monday, November 25, at 20:00 CET at Savaria Arena.
Crescent-Stars, under the management of head coach Ergin Ataman, played on the court; Şehmus Hazer, Cedi Osman, Furkan Haltalı, Ercan Osmani and Kenan Sipahi started with the first five. Hungary, under the management of Slovenian head coach Gasper Okorn, took its place on the field with Benedek Varadi, Szilard Benke, Gyorgy Goloman, Zoltan Perl and Nate Reuvers.
The Crescent-Stars team started the fight effectively in defense and attack and closed the first period ahead 27-20. Maintaining the difference in the second quarter, the national team was ahead 43-37 at the half. Increasing the difference to 12 in the third quarter, A Nationals entered the last quarter ahead 62-49. Continuing their effective play in this quarter, the A Nationals won the match 92-66.
Şehmus Hazer, who scored 25 points, and Cedi Osman, who scored 21 points, played an important role in the victory for the crescent-star team.
SUPPORT TO NATIONALS FROM MINISTER BAK
Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak followed the match from the stands. Minister Bak was accompanied by Basketball Federation (TBF) Hidayet Türkoğlu and TBF Deputy President Harun Erdenay.
Additionally, Eyüpspor Coach Arda Turan was among those who watched the match.

All tickets were sold for the first match played by the National Men’s Basketball Team at the Basketball Development Center, which was officially opened on September 29. The fans who filled the stands gave great support to the national basketball players with cheers and Turkish flags in their hands.
