In the fourth match of Group B of the 2025 European Men’s Basketball Championship Qualifiers, the National Men’s Basketball Team defeated Hungary 81-76 away.
With their third victory in their fourth match in the group, 12 Giant Men guaranteed their place in the European Championship to be held in Poland with two matches left in the group. Hungary, which has not won yet, is in last place.
On the other hand, the top scorer of the match was Cedi Osman, who scored 33 points for the national team.
The first period, which started with Cedi Osman’s successful shots, ended with a 21-14 advantage for the Crescent and Stars team. Hungary, which started the second period effectively in attack and defense, took the lead in part of the period, but the National Men’s Basketball Team entered the half with a 40-31 lead. Hungary equalized in the third period and went to the last period with a score of 54-54. After a competitive last period, the National Men’s Basketball Team won 81-76. After this result, the national team was guaranteed to go to EuroBasket 2025.
National Men’s Basketball Team will host Italy in its 5th match in the group. Hungary will host Iceland at home.
