THE MATCH
First quarter played at a low pace then the Blacks take the lead with Fragonara going 24-19 then with triples from Dincic and Fragonara they fly to 31-19 creating a 12-0 break. Mestre reacts by going 25-31 down, but this time it is Poletti who brings the Faenza team ahead by double figures at 39-25. At halftime we arrive with Faenza ahead 41-28 and when they return to the field the Blacks are even more determined, reaching a 20 point lead thanks to a counterattack by Calbini (53-33) resulting from one of his recovered balls.
The former Aromando and Rubbini took the Gemini attack on their shoulders and they closed the game to 53-60, but the Raggisolaris did not lose their nerve and repelled the comeback attempts with four points from Poletti for 70-58. Vico closes the score with a 3/3 from the line for 75-58, putting the exclamation point on the evening in Faenza.
