The trend is decidedly worrying, as highlighted by a survey conducted by Street Clotheswhich revealed a 35% increase in injuries compared to the same period last year. The measures adopted by the league to protect the show and the product, such as the rule against load management and the introduction of NBA Cupdo not appear to have had the desired impact.
The list of injuries in the NBA includes many of the league’s major stars. This year, teams could miss over 1,000 games by their star players. Missed games increased by 35% compared to the same period last season and by 16% compared to the previous one
