In the away game in Chicago, the usual Donovan Mitchell (36 points) dragged the Cleveland Cavaliers to a sprint victory and their 12th consecutive success in this incredible start to the regular season.
Victor Wembanyama (34 points and 14 rebounds) dominates Sacramento, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (45 points and 9 assists) breaks down the Clippers’ resistance. New Orleans narrowly loses at home to Brooklyn (105-107) and suffers their 5th defeat in a row, Houston has an easy time against the Wizards winning 107-92.
Chicago really tries to break the Cavs’ sensational winning streak, they play it and with 5 minutes to go the game is perfectly tied at 106. Cleveland, however, right there scores a 9-2 partial which in the space of less than 2 minutes launches the escape towards the 12th consecutive success. The 26 points from Zach LaVine and 20 each from Coby White and Nikola Vucevic are not enough for the Bulls, because on the other side the Cavs have the double double of 15 points and 11 rebounds from an increasingly convincing Evan Mobley and can count on a bench capable of producing 39 total points.
In the home match against Sacramento, the Spurs started a little slowly but woke up in the 2nd quarter, when authentic domination began (116-96 the final result) by the home team. The partial of the two central quarters of the match says 62-45 for San Antonio, who escapes without being caught again. The Kings have 24 points and 6 rebounds from De’Aaron Fox and the usual double double of 23 and 12 rebounds from Domantas Sabonis, but they pay a very respectable 42.9% from the field as a team. San Antonio instead sends seven players in double figures, taking advantage of the confident guidance of the super veteran Chris Paul (12 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals)
