(Reuters) – Joel Embiid of the NBA’s 76ers has been suspended for three games without pay for intentionally shoving a reporter.
Embiid reportedly committed the offending act in the locker room after the game against the Grizzlies on the 2nd.
Joe Dumars, the Sixers’ head of basketball operations, said in a statement on the 5th, “In the relationship between NBA players and the media, mutual respect is of the utmost importance.” “I understand that you are upset that the column invaded your private life, but the interaction must remain professional on both sides, and violence will not be tolerated.”
