NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves win thriller against Phoenix Suns

The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Phoenix Suns after a furious finish from Julius Randle. The power forward also trumps the strong Devin Booker.

The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Phoenix Suns 120-117 in the NBA.

Julius Randle became the late match winner with a buzzer-beater three-pointer.

After the Suns led for a long time, the T-Wolves’ star duo thawed out, especially in the fourth quarter. Anthony Edwards, who had a total of 24 points, turned the Suns’ lead shortly before the end and thus brought partner Randle into position.

The power forward crowned his 35-point performance with the throw to win, putting the Suns’ strong Devin Booker in the shade. Booker already had 27 points at halftime and finished the game with 44 points.

Minnesota improves its season record to 8-6 with the narrow win. The Suns, on the other hand, lost the fourth of their last five games and are 9-5 after a strong start to the season.
