NBA, no problem for Anthony Davis: already on the court tonight

Despite the initial fears, Anthony Davis he won’t miss a minute of play after his latest eye injury. The center of Los Angeles Lakers has already confirmed that he is ready to take the field in tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, after having anyway consulted with an ophthalmologist in a “precautionary visit”

“I have a couple of scratches in my eye. As far as the medical field and everything, I’m not 100% sure. But I’m allowed to play.”

Of concern was the fact that the eye was the same one Davis had problems with last season. In March he suffered a corneal abrasion, which worsened about a month later. This time, although the eye was still red Tuesday, Davis reassured that he is able to play as always. And, he added, he has no plans to wear safety glasses on the field.

“I wore glasses for three years when I was younger. To be honest I don’t want to do it [ora]. Obviously, the doctors told me I shouldn’t do it… If my eye doctor tells me I need to wear them, then I will”.
