The minor stroke struck the San Antonio coach while he was at the Frost Bank Center just in the hours before the match against the Timberwolves. For several days the Texan franchise maintained total confidentiality, especially in respect of the privacy of its head coach, but now the explanations are finally arriving accompanied by a decidedly positive diagnosis. The Spurs, in fact, communicate that his recovery will be total and that soon, although it is not yet known when, the coach capable of winning 1390 games on the San Antonio bench will return to coaching the Texan team. Mitch Johnson has guided the Spurs to a 3-3 record in the six games in which he has taken command of operations given the forced absence of Pop and now he will have to prepare for a series of decidedly complicated games in the next two weeks, with San Antonio in the second part of November they will face the Thunder, Warriors, Mavericks and twice the Lakers.
