New citizen: Dua is the 400th baby

Wipperfürth. Dion looks proud at his sister. The three-year-old sits on the patient’s bed and holds his sibling calmly on his lap. He has only been a big brother for a few hours and is smiling at his sister Dua, who has just been born.

The little girl was born on November 13th at 11:19 a.m. at the Helios Clinic in Wipperfürth, making her the 400th baby born there this year. The new citizen weighed 3,100 grams at birth and was 51 centimeters tall.

The parents, Arjana and Mergim Xheladini, were able to prepare carefully for the birth of their little daughter, as she was born with a planned cesarean section for medical reasons.

The name Dua can be traced back to several languages; In Albanian, dua means to love. A well-known bearer of the name is singer Dua Lipa.

The Hückeswagen family deliberately chose the name for their child, but for a different reason: to express their love for their daughter – and at the same time it fits wonderfully with their brother’s name, Dion.

“I’m happy that I can finally hold my daughter in my arms and that we’re all doing well,” said proud mom Arjana Xheladini.
