Samuel attacks Moody – Pepper tries to mediate

When San Francisco 49ers kicker Jake Moody sneaked off the field on Sunday after his third failed attempt, receiver Deebo was already waiting on the sideline. The Disappointment over Moody’s missed field goals was big. Samuel, himself upset with his offensive performance, confronted Moody. A heated exchange of words followed – nerves were on edge. Long snapper Taybor Pepper stepped in to mediate. After brief scuffles between the two players, the situation calmed down again after a short time. After the game, Samuel summarized the incident again: “I don’t normally react like that, but in the heat of the moment I let myself go a bit. I’ll talk to Jake and sort this out.”
