Teammates of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley decided to highlight his brilliant performance on Sunday night by playing a joke on him.

In a 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams, the running back rushed for 255 yards and two touchdowns. His yardage is the most of his career and the ninth most in NFL history during a game.
When Barkley returned to his locker in the team’s locker room after the game, he found a note instructing him to immediately submit to testing for performance-enhancing drug use.
The star player then revealed to the media that the missive was a fake and that it was tight end Dallas Goedert who had the idea for this hoax.
It must be understood that it is not uncommon for the NFL to impose screenings on its footballers after they have had excellent games.
Barkley also had to undergo the procedure after the clash against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the ninth week of activities. During this duel, he jumped over an opponent when his back was turned. The video footage of his feat has been shared millions of times on social media.
By virtue of his performance against the Rams, Barkley passed Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry for the most rushing yards this season. The first now has 1,392, while the second has totaled 1,185. They are the only two players on the Goodell circuit to have crossed the 1,000 yard mark so far in 2024.
