Quarterback Bryce Young will make his fourth straight start for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday against the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Panthers head coach Dave Canales confirmed the decision Monday after the team returned to work following a bye week.
The Panthers won two games in a row for the first time since 2022 before their bye week, against the New England Patriots and the New York Giants – this victory was acquired in Germany –, with Young as starting quarterback.
Although the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft didn’t put up stellar numbers during those two wins, totaling 297 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, he was able to improve his career record as as starting quarterback at 4-17.
