The NFL quarterback is demanding a whopping $12 million in court.

Most recently, money is said to have flowed to the company without the NFL star’s consent.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Baker Mayfield has taken legal action against his father James’ company. His brother Matt is also said to have shares in the company.
Mayfield and his wife Emily are demanding $12 million back. The allegations are breach of contract and failure to make repayments. This is reported by the US broadcaster “KXAN Sports”.
Specifically, it is said that the company “Camwood Capital Management Group” failed to fulfill part of a settlement agreement.
Background: Between 2018 and 2021, around $12.2 million is said to have been transferred to the “Camwood Capital Management Group”. Only this happened without Baker Mayfield’s consent.
Now the quarterback wants his money back. And goes to court for it. In addition to the twelve million, the defendants should also pay back interest and legal fees.
Signed in the NFL with the Bucs
According to “Sportico”, the two parties actually reached an agreement in January. The payment schedule should begin on September 30th. But the Mayfields claim no money was paid and their calls go unanswered.
Baker Mayfield was drafted first overall by the Cleveland Browns in the NFL in 2018. He now plays for Tampa Bay. He signed a three-year, $100 million contract with the Bucs before the current season.
