The Cincinnati Bengals missed a two-point post-touchdown conversion late in the fourth quarter, and the Baltimore Ravens held on to win a thrilling Thursday night game 35-34.
Having just scored a touchdown that brought the Bengals within one point of the Ravens with 38 seconds remaining, winger Tanner Hudson just saw a ball slip through his fingers that could very well have been synonymous with victory for Cincinnati.
A thrilling duel between two star quarterbacks was to be expected, and that is what materialized, as Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow shone for their respective clubs.
Lamar Jackson added three touchdown passes to his haul – all in the fourth quarter – leading the Ravens to a seventh victory in ten games, putting more pressure on the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2), leaders in the standings. Northern division.
Burrow totaled 428 air yards, in addition to throwing four passes for majors. In two games against the Ravens in 2024, the Bengals quarterback was the author of nine touchdown passes, without tasting victory.
