Kansas City Chiefs star players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were victims of burglaries last October.
The crimes were reported by several media outlets, including CNN, on Wednesday. After his team’s training, the quarterback also addressed the matter at a press conference.
“It’s obviously frustrating. It’s disappointing,” Mahomes said.
“It’s something you don’t wish on anyone,” he added. But even less to yourself.”
Police officers responded to a report of a burglary on October 6, a little before midnight, at the home of the 29-year-old kingpin. The incident was confirmed by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
There were reportedly no signs of a break-in and the authorities’ report did not say the quarterback had anything stolen.

On Kelce’s side, a burglary took place at his home in Leawood. The police report regarding the incident indicates that $20,000 in cash was stolen and there was $1,000 in damage to a rear door.
The week of the two burglaries, the Chiefs played October 7 in Kansas City. They defeated the New Orleans Saints 26-13.
