Five minutes before the end of the game, the 27-year-old drove his way into the Commanders’ end zone for the first time over 23 yards. Shortly afterwards, the running back scored a 39-yard touchdown to take the decisive 26:10 lead. Before that, the Eagles defense intercepted a pass from Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniel.

Just last week, Barkley caused a stir with a crazy move. In the win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the running back, who came to the Eagles from the New York Giants, jumps over his 1.83 meter tall opponent – backwards. He also caught a touchdown pass and carried the ball into the end zone once.
