The Philadelphia Eagles remain on the road to success in the NFL. Thanks to a strong final quarter, quarterback Jalen Hurts’ team won the NFC East’s top game against the Washington Commanders 26:18 (3:7) and achieved its sixth success in a row.

This means the Eagles currently have the third-longest winning streak in the US Football League.

Saquon Barkley became the match winner: The running back scored two touchdowns within 20 seconds in the final period.

Daniels’ opposite number, Jalen Hurts, had a better game; the Eagles’ quarterback ran into the end zone for a 12:10 lead in the middle of the fourth quarter. Hurts was briefly substituted in the second period after he went down and was examined for signs of a concussion.

The Eagles won their eighth of ten games this season and defended the top spot in the NFC East division ahead of the Commanders, who won seven of their eleven games.
