In week 13 of the NFL, exciting duels such as the AFC North duel Steelers against Bengals are on the schedule on December 1st – live on TV and stream.
Week 13 is a very special week in the NFL calendar, also for the fans in Germany. In addition to the usual games on Sunday, RTL has already shown two NFL games on Thursday. The reason: Thanksgiving!
On Thursday, November 28th The following NFL games were shown on RTL Nitro:
- 6:00 p.m.: Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions (free TV and streaming on RTL+)
- 10:30 p.m.: New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys (free TV and streaming on RTL+)
This Thursday was once again a special highlight, after all, football and Thanksgiving simply belong together in American culture.
At the weekend, of course, there will be three NFL games on TV and streamed on RTL as usual.
These NFL games will be on RTL in week 13 (December 1, 2024):
- 6:40 p.m.: Los Angeles Chargers @ Atlanta Falcons (streaming on RTL+)
- 7:00 p.m.: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals (free TV and stream on RTL+)
- 10:05 p.m.: Los Angeles Rams @ New Orleans Saint (free TV and streaming on RTL+)
With a record of 8-3, the Steelers lead the AFC North. Despite a recent loss to the Cleveland Browns, they remain in a strong position for the playoffs. The Bengals are currently 4-7 and desperately need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. This AFC North duel promises to be an exciting clash between two rivals.
Under the leadership of head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Chargers have a 7-3 record and are in second place in the AFC West. Their defense is considered one of the strongest in the league. The Falcons lead the NFC South with a record of 6-5. Despite a significant defeat against the Denver Broncos, they remain favorites to win the division.
The meeting between the LA Rams and the New Orleans Saints is of great importance for both teams as they want to preserve their chances of making the playoffs. Both teams are in third place in their respective divisions.

The RTL team for NFL broadcasts consists of an experienced mix of commentators and experts who cover different perspectives of the game. As a former football coach, Patrick “Coach” Esume brings comprehensive tactical insights, while former NFL players Björn Werner, Sebastian Vollmer and Markus Kuhn incorporate their experiences as professionals and offer insights into the game. Jan Stecker leads the programs as a presenter, accompanied by Florian “Schmiso” Schmidt-Sommerfeld and Jana Wosnitza, who complement the team journalistically.
