This Saturday night ended with a duel between the titans of women’s futsal. Nun´Álvares received and beat Benfica, for 2-1in a game valid for the sixth round of the championship, thus taking the lead in the Liga Placard Futsal Feminino.
A fierce dispute was approaching, with a lot of emotion until the end, between the two teams still undefeated this season. Fafe‘s team started the match better and opened the scoring in the 14th minute, through Kaká. The red and black team’s response came a few minutes later (17’) – Fifó’s shot was blocked and Janice took advantage of the rebound to secure equality on the scoreboard.
The balance between the two teams remained throughout most of the match and the tie was only broken in the second half, 30 minutes into the game. THE bis de Kaká sealed the score of the match and guaranteed the important victory for Paulo Tavares’ men.
With this victory, Nun’Álvares reaches first place in the league, with six wins in six matches played (18 points). The Eagles suffered their first defeat of the season and dropped to second place in the table, with 15 points obtained in six matches.
