Oblivion Battery: second season confirmed
The first season aired between April 10 and July 3 this year

Kadokawa announced today, through the release of a teaser trailer, the arrival of a second season Of Oblivion Batteryan anime based on the manga of the same name by Eko Mikawa.

The first season aired starting April 10 this year. Crunchyroll broadcast the series outside of Japan.

The manga story follows Harukaa very strong pitcher and considered by many as ‘Perfect‘, e Yesa receiver known by the nickname ‘General‘, suffering from amnesia. In middle school, this duo was impossible to beat, so much so that they shattered the dreams of opposing teams. After middle school, the two enrolled in the institute Kotesashia little-known high school in Tokyo. Here they meet some of their old opponents, who had left baseball after losing to Haruka e Yes.

The anime of Oblivion Battery was produced by the MAPPA studio, with the collaboration of Eijū Takashima. The direction is entrusted to Makoto Nakazonoassisted by Takeshi Iidaassistant director. Michiko Yokote wrote the screenplay, and Hitomi Hasegawa took care of the character design. The manga was launched on the website of Shōnen Jump+ in April 2018, to be later released in tankōbon format by Shueisha. The announcement of an anime adaptation came on October 11, 2020, during the event ‘Jump Special Anime Festa’.
