*Announcements from the B League are for Okinawa Basketball Co., Ltd. alone.
As for team results, while other clubs have become more competitive, in the B.LEAGUE 2023-24 season, we have advanced to the championship for 7 consecutive tournaments, advanced to the semi-finals for 6 consecutive tournaments, and advanced to the final for the 3rd time in 3 consecutive years. Ta. We also had a fulfilling year, finishing runner-up in the Emperor’s Cup for the second consecutive year and participating in the East Asian Super League (EASL) for the second consecutive year. We are deeply grateful that these results were only possible thanks to the support of everyone involved with Kings.

* Regarding Okinawa Sports Academy Co., Ltd., it merged with Okinawa Basketball Co., Ltd. on April 1, 2024, so the figures for the 2023-24 season (18th period) are actual results for July 2023-March 2024.
In terms of business results, Okinawa Basketball Co., Ltd.’s sales were 3,058 million yen (128.8% increase), and the Okinawa Basketball Group (Okinawa Basketball Co., Ltd. / Okinawa Arena Co., Ltd. / Okinawa Sports Academy Co., Ltd.) )’s consolidated sales reached a record high of 3,747 million yen (up 129.5%).
Okinawa Basketball Co., Ltd., which operates the Ryukyu Golden Kings, held a total of 41 home games and attracted over 310,000 visitors (an increase of about 40,000 from last year). As a result, the ticket business, goods business, and fan club business have all grown steadily, and the sponsorship business has grown to a total of 710 companies (an increase of 317 companies compared to last year), with the support of many companies. I feel a strong bond that supports our activities.
Furthermore, in terms of community activities, we conduct a total of 205 exchanges a year, such as distributing study drills to our hometown Okinawa City and greeting each school, giving us the opportunity to directly interact with local residents, especially the children who will be responsible for the future of Okinawa. I received it.
These accomplishments are the result of the efforts of our fans to make the Kings what they are today, and they are our greatest source of pride. However, our challenges continue. We sincerely hope that we will continue to work together with everyone and be a presence that brings brightness to the future of Okinawa.
As announced by the B.League on October 17th, we have decided to participate in the “B.LEAGUE PREMIER” starting from the 2026-27 season. We will not be satisfied with the current status of B.LEAGUE PREMIER’s participation, and will continue to take on the challenge of “bringing Okinawa to the world” with the aim of becoming Asia’s No. 1 baseball team.
