This weekend, the Olympic Judo medalist, Prisca Awiti visited Azcapotzalco to carry out a Master Class and participate in the tournament of this discipline that was held near the Deportivo Victoria de las Democracies.

The head of the district, Nancy Núñez, attended both events to greet the runner-up and thank her for her visit to the mayor’s office, to motivate and encourage the athletes and competitors of the mayor’s office.

In addition to this, he assured that he is in talks with the judoka to become a sports ambassador of Azcapotzalco, in the mayor’s effort to make the athletes of the region visible throughout Mexico City, the country and the world.

For her part, Prisca Awiti showed her enthusiasm to meet the different Judo schools in Azcapotzalco and share experiences. He thanked the mayor for the support and called on the athletes to raise the name of Mexico very highly.
