The nineteenth Spiaggia di Velluto Memorial masters Ciabattoni/Pompei judo trophy took place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November at the sports hall in via Capanna.
The trophy had a particular resonance this year, attracting more than 600 athletes including agonists (cadets and beginners) classes from 2007 to 2012 and pre-agonists (children, young people and teenagers) classes from 2013 to 2020 for a total of around 1300 people who are presented at the sports hall on the two days of the competition.
The trophy organized by the Senigallia sports club assisted by Fijilkam in the persons of the Fijilkam Marche president Marco Masi, the Fijilkam judo sector president Angelo Mercanti and the jury manager Federica Pasqualini took place over two days to give all the registered athletes the opportunity to compete. Athletes arrived from all the regions of central Italy with the welcome presence of a team from Sardinia made up of almost 20 athletes, judo Terralba, in the province of Oristano, of master Giovanni Spanu, who came to the city for 4 days specifically for the competition and were fascinated by Senigallia.
The Senigallia ASD sports club thanks all the technicians and managers who worked hard to create this event, which is particularly important for the judo sector, as well as the Senigallia hotel institute for its technical support and for making the students who helped with the awards ceremony available. and the judges.
