As usual, Nadir Hifi took over magnificently from his Macedonian international teammate, scoring 21 points in the first half alone. The Frenchman finished the match with 29 points, without feeling like he was forcing.
His first blows from the banderilla were not long in coming. From the first quarter, the French international sent two consecutive three-point bombs to widen an initial gap (20-8). He continued his work in the second quarter, notably scoring another winning shot three minutes before the break, despite a glaring imbalance.
