Due to the works to improve mobility and humanization that the Port Authority of Vigo is carrying out, in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia, in the Orillamar area as it passes through the shipyard area, it is planned that the next week, the road paving work will begin, which will be carried out at night to hinder traffic and operations in the area as little as possible.
The works include the renewal of the pavement of the Avenue in the section between the Bouzas roundabouts and the Plaza de la Industria Conservera, both included, which will imply the closure of night traffic from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. on the affected section, with normal traffic being restored from that time onwards.
The work will be carried out in different phases. The first of them will affect the area between the San Gregorio curve and the Bouzas roundabout (near the Market). This first phase is scheduled to begin on the night of Sunday, November 17 at 11 p.m. and concludes in the early hours of Friday, November 22 at 6 a.m.
The second phase will cover the work from the Curva de San Gregorio to the Plaza de la Industria Conservera, starting on the night of Sunday, November 24 at 11 p.m. and concludes in the early hours of Friday, November 29 at 6 a.m.
In any case, these forecasts will be conditioned to inclement weather, since the work is directly linked to them.
During traffic cuts, the relevant traffic detours will be enabled.
