The exchange match was hosted and organized by the Korea Sports Council and the Mungyeong City Sports Council, and 3,000 athletes from 88 public sports clubs competed fiercely in 10 sports.

Pohang City competed in dance sports, table tennis, and badminton at Yeongil Bay and Pohang Aviation Sports Club and achieved excellent results in all sports.

Public sports clubs are a project of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to provide differentiated, regionally tailored services to clubs in each region in response to the need for health and physical strength management due to the extension of life expectancy, and are operating various sports training programs and after-school classes.

In the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s sports club designation project, Yeongilman Public Sports Club (Yangdeokhanmaeum Gymnasium) was selected through a contest in 2017 and Pohang Aviation Public Sports Club (Mandang) in 2019, and currently 20,000 members are participating.
