Portugal is going straight there. Almost impeccable in its Nations League group (three wins, one draw), Cristiano Ronaldo’s Seleção has the opportunity to punch its ticket to the knockout phase of the competition.
The Portuguese face Poland deprived of Robert Lewandowski with a lower back injury this Friday, at the Estadio do Dragão in Porto, and only need a draw to qualify for the quarter-finals. They will then travel to Croatia three days later. As a reminder, only the first two groups will advance to the start of the knockout phase on March 20 and 23.
