Henrik Rydström about…

…the days after the golden match against IFK Göteborg:
– There have been nice days. I’ve been into it a few times before, but it’s been a weird few weeks leading up to this game. It has been put forward, and maybe even we ourselves felt it, that we missed a lot of opportunities. That’s why it was nice to secure it and everything that comes after that is wonderful. We have had two days off, which I think was important. It is these moments that are special and you carry them with you. I think it’s important that you get to enjoy yourself and that the players got that evening and night. I am also convinced that it can create a hunger later on to do it one more time.

…the importance of the supporters against IFK Göteborg in the second half:
– It is an organism that comes together between supporters and players and grows. Now, I’m no physicist, but there’s only a certain amount of energy, but this could probably have powered Northern Europe if it was just taken care of. The “Eleda effect” as me and my assistant Theodor [Olsson] usually call it. Then Taha does [Ali] the fantastic when he comes in and challenges directly and presses their players down in the penalty area.

…squad mode:
– Jens [Stryger] and Johan [Dahlin] are not available tomorrow. Oliver [Berg] is in the squad after being retired last time. There are a few question marks on some players who have played a lot. We have put ourselves in a position where we don’t have to take a risk with players, but will prioritize players who are fresh and can drive. Then we have a responsibility towards the series and the other teams while we want to win all the games. But of course we need to take some account of the next match, which is Besiktas away. We have a group that is good at winning, but also at switching to new matches.
