In a few days, the Red Devils will meet to play their last two Nations League matches, during which they will face Italy and Israel.
Sels is in great shape
And good news for Domenico Tedesco, some players have been playing at a very good level for several weeks. This is particularly the case for Matz Sels. Absent during the last gathering of the national team, the 32-year-old goalkeeper continued his good performances with Nottingham Forest.
He particularly stood out during the match against Chelsea. Thanks to his numerous saves, he allowed his team to come away with a point from Stamford Bridge. He then kept a clean sheet against Crystal Palace and only conceded one goal against Leicester.
Big competition
Thanks to his good performances, Sels is one of eight players nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award. His competitors are Chris Wood (his teammate at Nottingham Forest), Facundo Buananotte (Leicester), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), Danny Welbeck (Brighton), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Cole Palmer (Chelsea) and Josko Gvardiol (Manchester City).
