The Dojo de l’Aulne held its general meeting on Saturday November 9, 2024, at the Sports Hall of Pont-de-Buis-lès-Quimerc’h, in the presence of around thirty people, elected officials from Pont-de -Buis and Châteaulin and representatives of the departmental judo committee. The dojo, present in Pont-de-Buis, Le Faou and Châteaulin, opened an office in Pleyben at the end of 2023.
In her moral assessment, President Marie Ménard reported 151 members, an increase of 12.7% and a record number since the creation of the club in 2014. The members come from 25 municipalities in the sector. Among the various objectives set by the club, the employee’s employment was able to be sustained. The Pleyben branch developed with the creation of a parajudo section and sports-health activities were able to be set up with the support of town halls.
The office is renewed
On a sporting level, Professor Nicolas Meilard recalled the dojo’s participation in junior interclubs, championships in the junior, cadet and senior categories. Thomas Dreyfus and Éric Villemen obtained the second dan kata; Paul Griffon and Owen Devy the first dan kata. The office was unanimously reappointed: Marie Ménard, president; Thomas Le Floch, treasurer; Adeline Mazaud, secretary; and Charles Vey (new member), assistant secretary.
