We’re heading to Florida for an NBA regular season game between the Orlando Magic and the Chicago Bulls. This clash between two teams from the Eastern Conference takes place at the Kia Center in Orlando, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. Despite the absence for several weeks of its major player, Paolo Banchero, the Magic had an excellent first quarter of the competition. With a record of 12 wins for 7 losses, Jamahl Mosley’s players are in 3rd place in the East, only ahead of the two ogres that are Cleveland and Boston. Orlando owes this very good ranking mainly to its invincibility at home, its first 8 receptions having all ended in success.
Victorious in Washington on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, the Chicago Bulls are very happy to have to negotiate a new away match. Indeed, the franchise coached by Billy Donovan is much more comfortable on the road than at home, 6 of its 8 victories having been acquired away from its United Center. Its excellent away record of 6 wins for 5 losses allows the team of Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, respectively best scorer (22.7 pts) and best rebounder (9.7 rebounds) of the Bulls, to appear in the 9th place in the Eastern Conference rankings and thus virtually qualified for play-in.
