The Phoenix Suns host the Orlando Magic in the NBA regular season. This confrontation between the 5th in the Western Conference and the 3rd in the Eastern Conference takes place on the night of Monday to Tuesday, at the Footprint Center in Phoenix. After an excellent start to the season, the Suns have clearly been stalling in recent days since they have lost 4 of their last 5 matches. This negative series coincides with the absence due to injury of Kevin Durant, who had taken on the role of boss of the Arizona franchise since the launch of the 2024-2025 financial year. The injury to another major player, Bradley Beal, of course did not help matters, and the team coached by Mike Budenholzer found itself at a standstill. Returning to their home gym after 4 consecutive trips is a great opportunity for Phoenix to get back on the path to victory.

The Orlando Magic has two faces. Unplayable at home, the Floridians won the seven matches played in their Kia Center. However, it is much more complicated away, their record away from their bases being 1 victory for 6 defeats. Remaining on 5 consecutive successes, all acquired on its floor, which allowed it to settle on the podium of the Eastern Conference, the franchise coached by Jamahl Mosley and carried by an incandescent Franz Wagner (28.3 points on average on last 6 matches) is tackling, with this trip to Phoenix, a series of 3 away matches which could well tarnish a little their overall record of 8 wins for 6 losses.
