Do you regret the draw all the more because you didn’t let Hradec have another chance apart from the goal situation?
We were preparing for their standards, we knew they had strong players against them. Still, we didn’t spot one. Our defense was excellent overall, the guys at the back handled difficult situations. We often chase our opponents one on one, but we still manage. We did not observe a single dangerous situation in Hradec. It cost us two points.
Do you regret not breaking the club record winning streak?
Statistics are a nice thing, but we don’t focus on numbers. It would hurt us far more if we lose the title because of a draw. It is said that great teams emerge only after the first failure. But I don’t know if the point from Hradec is a complete failure. It was a tough match against an excellently prepared opponent, we gave it our best.
But you could significantly outrun your pursuers. Both Sparta and Pilsen lost.
This was a great motivation. We want to have as big a points cushion as possible. A blanket can fall on anyone, it is difficult to get up from it. But we must not look left or right and drive on.

On social networks, many people mistake you for champions during the Sparta crisis. What about that?
I can only laugh at the opinions that we have the title in our pocket, that the league is over. The season is very long, there are many games left. Depression can fall on any team, of course the title is not decided.
