Announced in September, it has been officially available worldwide since yesterday PlayStation 5 Prothe new mid-gen console from Sony.
Compared to the original version released four years ago, PS5 Pro is equipped with one Improved GPUwith 67% more computational unit than the basic version and 28% faster memory. It also supports theAdvanced Ray Tracingwhich allows to provide greater dynamic reflection of objects and light. There is also a new AI-based upscaling system called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), effectively an in-house version of Nvidia’s DLSS.
PlayStation 5 Pro is available at the Italian price of 799€, without optical reader and vertical standpurchasable separately.
Last September, during the State of Playthe designer of PS5 Pro Mark Cerny he had referred to specific titles that would be optimized for the new console. The official list includes over forty titles, here they are:
