Ratings for Baseball Top 12’s Golden Horse Awards Ceremony hit a 10-year low

Taiwan’s 61st Golden Horse Award The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday evening (November 11) at the Taipei Pop Music Center. Due to fierce competition between Taiwan and Japan in the Top 23 baseball tournaments, the Golden Horse Awards’ ratings were severely affected. Last year the average TV ratings were 12, this year it was 3.52, a record low of 1.71 years.

According to Taiwanese media reports, television and online broadcasts of the 61st Golden Horse Awards reached a total of around 732 million viewers. The total TV ratings for the ceremony were 7,000 and the effective ratings were 1.71; Avenue of Stars’ overall ratings were only 1.42 and effective ratings were only 0.62.

According to data released by Taiwan TV, the highest ratings of this year’s Golden Horse Awards went to Wang Ruolin and Chen Hongren, who won Best Original Film Song with a rating of 2.82 and an audience of 613,000: “Side A: “My Day” won the best drama short film with a rating of 2.68 and a viewership of 582,000. The viewership was 2.61; next, “Fukutama” won best original score with a rating of 568,000 and an audience of 568,000.
