Delegates
Delegates are the link between the Federal Assembly and the associations. They are the voice of the associations during the Association Meeting. Associations can influence the policy within Badminton Netherlands through the delegates. The delegates then have a lot of contact with associations, other delegates within the region, the Badminton Netherlands board and the Badminton Netherlands work organization.
The delegates are elected per region by the Regional Meeting. Delegates are elected for a period of four years and can be re-elected twice. At least one representative is elected in each region during the elections. The remaining seats are allocated to the regions by regular election in proportion to the number of members per region compared to the total number of members of Badminton Netherlands as of January 1 of the year in question. The candidates with the highest number of votes per person were elected per region.
Delegates Northern Region
Below is the list of delegates from the North Region:
As an association, you can contact the delegates if you have questions, comments or suggestions regarding the policy.
So don’t hesitate to approach them!
Loan material
RACKET PACKAGE
The associations in the North region of Badminton Netherlands have the option of using loan rackets. The rackets are managed by Roel van der Velde in Appelscha. There are two bags, each containing 25 badminton rackets, available free of charge.
You can also contact Roel to borrow a set of rackets and speeders for speed badminton. However, there are costs associated with borrowing these sets. The speeders wear out through use, so we therefore charge a small fee of €7.50 for use. The set also includes a booklet with an explanation of use.
All loan material sets must be picked up and returned to Appelscha.
To avoid disappointment, it is wise to book early and Roel can be reached by telephone on number (0516) 51 42 71 after 7 p.m.
